Hey sorry for such the long lapse in posts, things have been really busy lately :)
My buddy Mike has really gotten me interested in contemporary acrylic artwork. I have found an artist that I really like, his name is Nathaniel Eascoat and he seems to be a fairly new artist but I really like his work. 4 things I love

Complete randomness just like I promised. This post just outlines four things that I love very much and couldn't live my life without.

1. My Dremel (okay I just bought it tonight, but I can already tell it's going to be my favorite tool ever)
2. Rolling Rock beer; there's nothing better than a cold Rolling Rock after a hard day at work (or having one at work, lol)
3. My loving wife Stephy; without her I wouldn't have clean clothes or any food. I would also have a hard time paying the bills and remembering the feed the cat :)
4. My baby boy Brody; he is literally the sunshine of my life, I cannot imagine my life without him now. He amazes me everyday with something new that he says or does

I am incredibly thankful for these things as well as everything else God has blessed me with.

Brody's Christmas program debut. Not ringing bells and singing but looking at us instead.

Holy Christmas Weekend, Batman! Four Christmases later and Brody is exhausted, not to mention his mother and father are too. I honestly can say, I think we all made out like bandits. Plus, we got to spend some much needed time with all of the family. This is my favorite time of year. Family, cookies, gifts, cookies, and time off of work. Did I mention cookies? Brody was really into the present opening this year. In fact, he had a hard time waiting his turn a few times. Just the mention of present made his eyes open into big, brown saucers and cause his head to go into a furious "yes" nod.

A couple of weekends ago, Brody made his first stage debut. If you have never seen 10 two year olds get up on a stage to "sing" a song, you should, it is highly entertaining. We have it recorded if you care to experience it. Needless to say, Brody is not an entertainer, he is a stage diver. He did it twice. I don't think he meant to dive but he didn't see the stairs the two times he ran to see us in the audience. He will make a great crowd surfer for concerts to come. Totally fearless.

Sorry ladies, the Christmas Mohawk is gone. It was a two day special only. Maybe next Christmas.

Sucks being sick

So on Thursday morning I noticed that my throat was starting to hurt a little. No big deal I thought, boy was I wrong. By 3:00pm I felt like death warmed over. I left early from work and slept from 4:00pm until 6:00am the next day. Whatever is going around can hit you like a ton of bricks. Thank God for orange juice and Coldeze. Well I hope everyone stays healthy and has a Merry Christmas.

Welcome to the Mac Family

Well thanks to my buddy Mike, I have become a Mac addict. I've only been playing around with the mac powerbook for a few days but I already love it. I always swore that I would never switch from PC but after using the Mac I've realized they are way more efficient. It will definitely take some time to figure out all the programs and options, but I've got a good teacher (Thanks Mike!).
I know make it my solemn duty to convert all PCers to Mac users :)

New Jeep

Hey everyone,
Sorry for such the gap between post. Things have been busy between both jobs and raising a 2 year old. Steph and I realized that we needed a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the winter. We did some research (lol, I've always wanted a Jeep so it was a pretty easy choice). We got a great deal on a 2002 Jeep Liberty Renegade. It's by far the coolest vehicle I've ever owned!!! Jeep owners have their own community and it's almost like one big happy Jeep family. I am hoping that Camp Jeep will be somewhere close next year so I can take Steph and Brody and show them a great time.

Gears of War 2

Today is a great day for a nerd. Today is the much anticipated release day of Gears of War 2. Arguably one of the best games for the Xbox 360. Nothing releases tension from a long day like chainsawing someone in half and sticking a frag grenade to the gut of a locust. I highly recommend going out and picking up this title if you were a fan of the first Gears of War. The sequel has the same gameplay as the first with several subtle exciting changes. For instance, now you can pick up a fallen enemy and use them as a "meat shield". There are also new weapons, online maps and unlockable characters. You would think by this post that I work for the develop who made this game, but I don't, I'm just a big fan of the game. Enjoy

You know what grinds my gears?

If your a family guy fan like I am you'll remember the episode where Peter had his own segment on the news called "You know what grinds my gears". Well you know what grinds my gears? We were scheduled to do a midnight launch for World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King on the 12th of November. Well because we don't have a lease on our space in the mall our price for security went from $200 to $1500 :( So of course we can't afford to do a midnight launch at that price. So now I have to wait until the 13th to play the expansion :( And this is what really grind my gears!!!

White wedding

Hey everybody, just wanted to say congratulations to my baby sister Cassie and her husband Matt. They got married on Saturday in Springfield at the Springfield Lake and Marina. It was a very beautiful wedding and it stopped raining just minutes before Cassie walked down the isle. I promise to post some pictures as soon as I get them off my camera. The picture is Billy Idol, he sings "White Wedding" lol

No More Kings

Huge Nerd!!!

Okay for those of you that I haven't been in contact with for a while, I have a confession to make. I am a huge nerd. Computers, video games and other useless gadgetry really get my blood pumping. My latest kick has been World of Warcraft. It's the one game that I swore I would never play but after only two weeks, I got hooked. I've been playing since May of 2008 and now I've got a level 70 Blood Elf Rogue (Gingervitis is his name lol) November 13th is the release of the newest expansion; Wrath of the Lich King. So for the next two months Steph will go back to being a widow.
